Watchletic integration
Tymewear on Google Pixel Watch
Record Tymewear VitalPro breathing data directly on Google Pixel Watch without carrying your phone. Export to Intervals.icu, TrainingPeaks, or Strava after syncing.
Direct sensor recording is free. Scheduled-workout imports require Watchletic Club.
Record VitalPro breathing data from your wrist
Watchletic reads the Tymewear VitalPro breathing sensor over Bluetooth on Apple Watch and Wear OS. Start and stop the workout on your watch, see your breathing metrics alongside pace, power, and heart rate, and leave your phone at home during the session. Use the phone app for initial setup and reconnect afterward to sync the workout and send it to your connected services.
Connect the sensor directly in Watchletic on Google Pixel Watch. You can record a regular workout or follow an imported training session with the same sensor connection.
What Watchletic reads from Tymewear VitalPro
- Breathing rate, measured in breaths per minute.
- Tidal volume, the sensor’s measure of air moved per breath.
- Minute ventilation, plus a 60-second average for a steadier live value.
- Inhale/exhale ratio, the relationship between the time spent breathing in and out.
- Sensor battery level when available over Bluetooth.
Add these values to your watch layout alongside heart rate, pace, or power. Watchletic supports separate running and cycling ventilation boundaries. Its FIT exports retain breathing rate, tidal volume, minute ventilation, and inhale/exhale ratio using Tymewear’s field names.
VitalPro also has a heart-rate sensor. Add its heart-rate connection separately in Watchletic’s Bluetooth settings, or use another compatible Bluetooth heart-rate monitor alongside the breathing sensor.
Use Tymewear without a phone during the workout
Watchletic provides direct VitalPro recording on Wear OS, including supported Samsung Galaxy Watch and Google Pixel Watch models. Start the session on the watch and keep ventilation, power, and heart rate visible together. Your Android phone can stay at home while the watch records the sensor data.
Use the Watchletic phone app for setup, account connections, and syncing afterward. Recording breathing data does not need a live phone connection or a cellular plan on your watch.
Tymewear data in Intervals.icu, TrainingPeaks, and Strava
Connect Intervals.icu in Watchletic and enable auto-export to send supported completed workouts after syncing. Watchletic includes VitalPro breathing data in its FIT uploads. Intervals.icu supports Tymewear breathing charts; open the activity’s Charts menu and select the available breathing fields. See the Intervals.icu developer’s instructions.
You can also automatically export the same session to TrainingPeaks and Strava. Connect each account and enable its auto-export option in Watchletic. Those services choose which fields they display, so uploading a workout with breathing data does not guarantee a ventilation chart in every destination.
For a planned session, import your workout from TrainingPeaks or Intervals.icu, then record it with VitalPro connected. A Stryd pod or a Bluetooth cycling power meter can supply power in the same workout. CORE can add body temperature, and ENGO glasses can show live workout fields.
Set up Tymewear on Google Pixel Watch
Install Watchletic on your phone and Google Pixel Watch, then pair your VitalPro breathing sensor inside Watchletic on the watch. Account connections for imports and exports are configured in the phone app.
- Install Watchletic on your phone and watch. On the watch, open Watchletic’s Bluetooth settings and add your Tymewear VitalPro breathing sensor.
- Add breathing rate, tidal volume, minute ventilation, its 60-second average, or inhale/exhale ratio to your workout layout. Set running and cycling ventilation boundaries if you use ventilation zones.
- Connect any other sensors you want to record, such as Stryd, a Bluetooth heart-rate monitor, or a cycling power meter. Check their readings before starting.
- Start a run or ride in Watchletic on the watch. VitalPro connects directly to the watch, so your phone can stay at home while you record.
- In the phone app, connect Intervals.icu, TrainingPeaks, Strava, or Tymewear and enable auto-export for your chosen destinations. Sync after the session to send the completed workout.
The Tymewear account connection is optional for recording the sensor. Connect it to import planned workouts, recommendations, and ventilation zones, or export supported runs and rides recorded with a Tymewear breathing sensor. Choose ventilation, pace/power, or heart rate for imported workout targets.
Bluetooth devices for Tymewear workouts
Connect devices directly in Watchletic on Google Pixel Watch. Add each device before starting the workout and choose the values you want on screen.
- Stryd and Stryd Duo supply running power, pace, distance, cadence, and running dynamics.
- Bluetooth heart-rate monitors, including Polar H10 and compatible Wahoo straps, supply live heart rate. Monitors that broadcast R-R intervals also enable HRV and DFA-a1.
- CORE supplies body temperature and heat strain. Tymewear VitalPro supplies breathing rate, tidal volume, minute ventilation, and inhale/exhale ratio.
- Compatible treadmills and NPE Runn supply indoor running data. ActiveLook/ENGO glasses show live Watchletic workout fields.
- Bluetooth cycling power meters, speed and cadence sensors, and compatible smart trainers connect directly for rides on both platforms.
Connect a Polar H10, Stryd, or another supported sensor in Watchletic’s Bluetooth settings on Pixel Watch. The sensor supplies live data to the Watchletic workout on your wrist.
Available metrics depend on the device and firmware. Each service controls which fields it displays after upload. See the device compatibility table for supported metrics and watch models. Use Bluetooth devices; Watchletic does not connect over ANT+.
Google Pixel Watch compatibility
Google Pixel Watch needs Wear OS 5 or later. Record in Watchletic to use its structured workouts and Bluetooth connections, and save the result to Health Connect through the Android app.
